If you're a jazz musician, then you'll want to make sure you have a professional page at All About Jazz. As host to over 90,000, there's a chance your page already exists, and if it does, you can claim it. If it does not exist, you can create it from scratch here.

We encourage all musicians to complete their pages by adding their biography, videos, discography, links, photos, audio players, events etc. At minimum, we ask you to add upload your thumbnail image and instrument.

Here are a handful of reasons why you should upload your musician profile thumbnail image:

  • We place your thumbnail on various pages at All About Jazz and Jazz Near You and readers are less likely to click on the default thumbnail image.
  • A thumbnail image stands out in the Jazz Near You app. There's a greater likelihood a user will scroll past your event if it is represented by the default thumbnail image.
  • Once you upload your thumbnail image, your profile will appear at the musician center under the “Recent Updates" tab. We do not show profiles with detault thumbnails under the “Recent Updates" tab.
  • We do not present the default thumbnail image in our “Similar Artists" results.
  • A Jazz Near You event detail pages look 100% better with thumbnail images and instrument designations.
Compare an event page with no thumbnails and instruments:

...to an event page with thumbnails and instruments.
