Who/What: Performers of international stature in an intimate setting. Enjoy a glass of wine, hors doeuvres, conversations with the musicians, and a view of city lights. This is the first evening in our third concert season for 2007-8.
Performers: Our world-class performers include violinist Ida Levin, violist Evan Wilson (former Principal Viola, LA Philharmonic), and cellist Antonio Lysy (Terra di Siena Chamber Music Festival in Tuscany, Italy), plus Music & Conversations' superb Delores Stevens (piano). Two-time Grammy Award-winner, Alan Broadbent will complete the evening with the great bassist Putter Smith in virtuoso jazz improvisations.
Music: Johannes Brahms, Sonata No. 1 for violin and piano; Richard Strauss, Piano Quartet; and Alan Broadbent, jazz improvisations.
When: Saturday, December 8, 2007, 7:30 PM (arrive for wine & hors doeuvres). Music begins promptly at 8 PM.
