Legendary singer, songwriter and pianist BILLY JOEL joins in with the Toots Thielemans Quartet for an extraordinary evening of music as part of Toots Thielemans' 80th Birthday Celebration at the Blue Note. The event marks Billy Joel's Blue Note debut.
This is the first concert of a week-long celebration paying homage to the acclaimed harmonica player as he turns 80. Each night Thielemans and his Quartet will be joined on stage by a special guest. Besides Billy Joel, guests include saxophonist Joe Lovano, pianist and composer George Shearing, and guitarist and recent collaborator Oscar Castro-Neves.
