Mountain Jam Returns for Third Year; Expands to Three Days

MOUNTAIN JAM RETURNS FOR THIRD YEAR; EXPANDS TO THREE DAYS

GOV'T MULE, UMPHREY'S MCGEE, MICHAEL FRANTI, & ROBERT RANDOLPH TO PERFORM

TICKETS ARE ON-SALE WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 23 AT 10AM EST

(Woodstock, NY) - Radio Woodstock and world renowned guitarist Warren Haynes (Gov't Mule & The Allman Brothers Band) announced today that they will, once again, co-produce the third annual Mountain Jam Music Festival and that it will expand to 3 days of music.

Mountain Jam with onsite camping, will take place on Friday through Sunday, June 1st - June 3rd at beautiful Hunter Mountain in Hunter, NY (www.mountainjam.com). The natural amphitheatre provides great sight lines from any vantage point. The surrounding environment is family friendly and includes 24 hour full service lodge. There's even a children's area with arts & crafts and other activities.

“We're excited to have some of our friends back this year as well as friends that have yet to be part of Mountain Jam," said Warren Haynes.

The line up includes: Gov't Mule, Umphrey's McGee, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Robert Randolph and The Family Band, New Orleans Social Club featuring Henry Butler, Ivan Neville, Leo Nocentelli, George Porter Jr and Raymond Webber, Ozomatli, North Mississippi, Tea Leaf Green, New Monsoon, and Backyard Tire Fire. Late night performances as well as additional artists will be announced soon.

Mountain Jam tickets are available at MountainJam.com beginning on Wednesday, February 23rd at 10AM EST. There are a limited number of early bird special tickets for $99 for a 3-Day Pass, and $124 for a 3 -Day Pass with Camping. After that, tickets will be $105 for a 3-Day Pass, and $130 for a 3-Day Pass with Camping. A 1-Day Pass is $65. Ticket prices increase on May 1st and on the day of the show.

On-site camping has been increased since last year's event. In addition, there are other camping facilities and plenty of hotels located nearby.

“We are excited to grow Mountain Jam to 3 days and to have expanded camping facilities" said Gary Chetkof, President of Radio Woodstock. “The musical line up is stronger than ever and this year's Mountain Jam is better conceived in terms of creativity and production."

About Warren Haynes

Warren Haynes has been ranked by Rolling Stone as the 23rd Greatest Guitarist of All Time and the magazine has most recently ranked him among the few top Guitar Gods. Haynes is a Grammy winner and seven time nominee for his work with Gov't Mule and The Allman Brothers Band. He's been called an “American treasure" and a “legend in the making" by his peers.
