Radio Woodstock and world-renowned guitarist Warren Haynes (Gov't Mule, Allman Brothers Band, The Dead) are pleased to announce additions to the already stellar lineup for the 8th annual Mountain Jam Festival at Hunter Mountain, NY from Thursday, May 31 through Sunday, June 3, 2012.

Gov't Mule will headline Friday and Saturday nights, with the legendary Steve Winwood headlining Sunday night following performances by Michael Franti & Spearhead, Dawes, and the just-added Tedeschi Trucks Band, hot off the heels of their recent Grammy Award for Best Blues Album for their 2011 release, Revelator.

Also added to the Mountain Jam 2012 lineup is a very special latenight DJ Set from James Murphy (of LCD Soundsystem), as well as an after-hours set from electronic jam-band, Lotus, back for their third Mountain Jam appearance.

This week's additions bring the Mountain Jam 2012 lineup to a total of over 50 bands, performing on 4 stages over the course of the 4-day weekend. Other new additions include: Nigel Hall Band, Simone Felice Band, American Babies, Caravan of Thieves, Matt Schofield, Delta Rae, Wyllys, Charlie Dane, Kelli Scarr, and kids entertainment with Ratboy Jr. and baritone Koral.

All About Jazz needs your support

All About Jazz & Jazz Near You were built to promote jazz music: both recorded albums and live events. We rely primarily on venues, festivals and musicians to promote their events through our platform. With club closures, limited reopenings and an uncertain future, we've pivoted our platform to collect, promote and broadcast livestream concerts to support our jazz musician friends. This is a significant but neccesary step that will help musicians and venues now, and in the future. You can help offset the cost of this essential undertaking by making a donation today. In return, we'll deliver an ad-free experience (which includes hiding the sticky footer ad). Thank you!
