MOON HOOCH ANNOUNCES SPRING TOUR OF THE NORTHEAST; HITTING THE ROAD IN APRIL, PLAYING CLUBS AND STREET CORNERS

Spawned from New York City's subway, Brooklyn “Cave Music" trio Moon Hooch is emerging to spread its infectious dance rhythms beyond the five boroughs. In addition to playing clubs, the saxophones and drums trio will do what they do best—perform in subways, parks, and street corners.

The band is in the midst of a long running residency at Brooklyn's Knitting Factory, having sold-out every show at the club, and leaving thousands of concertgoers drenched in sweat. Moon Hooch embarked on a national tour in the fall of 2011 with Mike Doughty, but will be visiting a number of Northeast cities for the first time. To spread the love, Moon Hooch will play surprise daytime concerts in public spaces throughout the tour, tweeting the locations just hours beforehand. Follow them on twitter to keep up to date.

Check out the tour dates below. Click here to see the music video for “Low 4" off their self-titled debut album. Tickets on-sale for most shows is this Friday, March 2.
