This week we've got a special theme for the hour since we've received a huge package of brand new MOJA from Sweden. Our old friend Odd Sneegen, who works with some of Sweden's greatest jazz musicians, sent us the latest and we'll share his gift with you as we present The Stockholm Jazz Orchestra, The Elin Larsson Group, the blending of India and Sweden with the group Myhta, The Mathias Algotsson Trio, The Opposite, the group MusicMusicMusic and Mats Rondin featuring Mike Stern. So, if you want to keep up with all the newest MOJA, just listen to THE ALL NEW MUSIC REVUE four times each week and this week we're off to SWEDEN!

Every Friday beginning at 7 AM until midnight Eastern time we'll begin each hour with a classic piece of Jazz Fusion history with our special feature we call IF IT'S FRIDAY, THIS MUST BE FUSION. This Friday, April 2nd, is the 67th birthday of the man who just may be the actual father of fusion, so we'll celebrate that fact with a special feature we call “LARRY CORYELL'S GREATEST FUSION HITS." There probably would not have been music called Jazz Fusion without electric guitar, and when Larry brought his distinctive electric style to projects by Chico Hamilton and Gary Burton history was made. You'll hear that as well as Larry's solo work with his band The Eleventh House and more exciting surprises. It's “LARRY CORYELL'S GREATEST FUSION HITS," on this week's edition of IF IT'S FRIDAY, THIS MUST BE FUSION.

This Saturday we'll salute one of the greats of MOJA as we present our weekly feature WORDS & MUSIC on MOJA Radio this one titled “HAPPY BIRTHDAY LARRY CORYELL!" On the day after the ageless guitar wonder and MOJA master turns 67 we'll look back at a life and career that has helped define what Modern Jazz really is. You'll hear all about his beginnings, his early development, his many influences, his move to New York, the birth of Fusion, and the many collaborations with his fellow greats of jazz. We'll include music from the mid-'60's to his latest releases “Earthquake at the Avalon" and “Jammin' At Franny's: The Xcyrus Sessions." Interview segments followed by music will begin each hour from Noon through Midnight Eastern time (9 AM-9 PM Pacific). Join us for “HAPPY BIRTHDAY LARRY CORYELL," on this week's WORDS & MUSIC.

Twice every Sunday listen for three of our most popular special features on what we call THE SUNDAY SPECIALS here on MOJA Radio. At 9 AM & 9 PM Eastern time you'll hear an hour of fun and funky stuff on JAMMIN' JAZZ...JAZZ FOR THE NEW GENERATION WITH MICHELLE SAMMARTINO followed at 10 AM and 10 PM Eastern time by our weekly look at the hottest new MOJA coming out on THE ALL NEW MUSIC REVUE. Then we'll wrap it all up at 11 AM and 11 PM Eastern time with an hour inside the world's only imaginary jazz club for rare, live performances on LIVE @ MOJALAND. So listen for THE SUNDAY SPECIALS twice every Sunday from 9 AM to NOON, with a replay Sunday night from 9 PM to Midnight Eastern/6-9 PM Pacific on MOJA Radio!
