Husband and wife team, Trombonist Mike Fahn and Bassist Mary Ann McSweeney have been living and playing music in New York for 12 years. They have their own separate careers but will be coming together for this Southern California tour playing music they have written and arranged from their CDs. Mike Fahn has played and or recorded with Slide Hampton, Randy Brecker, Toshiko Akioshi , Kenny Wheeler, Bill Mobley, Tom Harrell, Mullgrew Miller and has recently toured Indonesia with Deodato and played in New York at the Iridium with Michael Brecker’s Quindectet. McSweeney has performed with Leonard Bernstein and Henry Mancini Lee Konitz, Joanne Brackeen, and Dizzy Gillespie and most recently as musical director for Tonya Pinkins concert at Jazz at Lincoln Center and has been playing concerts with four time Tony award winning vocalist Audra McDonald.
