Formed by the multi-tasking Adam Pierce in the late 90's, Mice Parade was originally a solo project. But while Pierce plays and sings the bulk of this latest effort, he summoned members of his globally-scattered touring outfit to bring their voices and instruments the latest recording. Joining Pierce on the road for this leg of the band's North American tour will be Caroline Lufkin (Caroline), Dan Lippel, Doug Scharin (Rex, Enablers), and Josh Larue (Played Tomorrow, Sorts).
Just added to the bills in NYC, Chicago, and Toronto: Gunnar Tynes of Mum will be bringing that group's eclectic, wide-eyed sonic exploration to audiences with a series of rare Mum DJ sets. Opening all shows along the way will be Mice Parade's FatCat labelmates Les Shelleys, the duo of FatCat's Tom Brosseau and his vocal partner Angela Correa.
Mice Parade's fall tour dates will include stops in New York City, Philadelphia and a performance at Pop Montreal. West Coast and European shows will be announced shortly.

Mice Parade is just as interesting and creative as ever, though, even when writing songs with more traditional structures."Dusted Magazine
Pierce sinks his heart into his music, and while that may not manifest in impassioned yelping or big rock riffs, the exquisiteness of his playing and songcraft make it apparent"Tiny Mix Tapes
