For week number seven of Melvin Gibbs' 10 week Monday free download series Mr.Gibbs releases a live track from his Liberation Theology band. Osétura features Alex Harding on baritone sax, John Medeski on keyboards and Graham Haynes on trumpet.This track is driven by a three person percussion group playing the bata drums of the Yoruba people of Nigeria in the Afro-Cuban Lukumi style in tandem with Terreon Gully's drumming and the bass playing of series producer Gibbs.
