Fresh off a coast to coast tour of the Canadian Jazz Festivals and US dates this past summer, modern jazz vibraphonist Matthias Lupri returns this fall with his 3rd CD of original modern compositions entitled “Same Time Twice" on
Modern original jazz with the sweet sounds of the vibraphone and the forward thinking players of today's NYC jazz scene. Critically acclaimed saxophonist Mark Turner and guitarist Kurt Rosenwinkel have numerous albums out on Verve and Warner Bros, while the bass and drum team of Reuben Rogers and Gregory Hutchinson were with Joshua Redman's band for many years, and presently Dianne Reeves.
