Modern jazz vibraphonist Matthias Lupri and group with acclaimed saxophonist Myron Walden will be performing new music from “Transition Sonic" (Summit DCD-398) released this September, while on tour.
A modern forward thinking band with all Lupri original compositions, “Transition Sonic" was recorded in NYC after a 2 week tour of the west coast and NE dates, with saxophonist Mark Turner(Kurt Rosenwinkel) trumpeter Cuong Vu (Pat Metheny), and with Nate Radley(g), Thomson Kneeland (b) Jordan Perlson (dr).
Acclaimed saxophonist Myron Walden has albums out on NYC records and is part of the Brian Blade Fellowship Group on BlueNote Records.
