Mary Foster Conklin can be heard in clubs throughout New York City and beyond, both as a soloist and with Art Lillard's Heavenly Band. Praised by The Washington Post as “a highly creative singer ... with a wide-ranging, boldly colored voice and an open ear for offbeat material." Her debut CD Crazy Eyes was listed as one of the ten best CDs of 1998 by In Theatre Magazine. Her second recording, You'd Be Paradise, was a jazz bestseller for two years on www.CDBaby.com. She appears on Art Lillard's latest recording Reasons to Be Thankful (Summit), and has just finished her third recording, Blues For Breakfast: Remembering Matt Dennis, which is scheduled for an October 3rd release on Rhombus Records.
