Martin Fabricius Trio has just released their first CD, When Sharks Bite. The trio consists of three young Danish jazz musicians; Martin Fabricius on vibes, Jeppe Wessberg Christensen on drums and Christian Hougaard Nielsen on bass. The three young musicians all have one thing in common: they are former students of jazz greats. Martin Fabricius has studied with Gary Burton, Christian Hougaard Nielsen with Niels Henning Orsted Pedersen and Jeppe Wessberg Christensen with Morten Lund. “I think, being former students of theese great musicians has been a factor in our first CD being somewhat overdue.... but now that it's finally out, I'm proud to say, that I think we have found our own voice." says Martin Fabricius.
