The Mark Egan Trio featuring guitarist John Abercrombie and drummer Danny Gottlieb have just returned from a two week tour de force of Europe celebrating their new release As We Speak.
The eleven concert tour was non-stop through cities in Austria, Switzerland, Germany, and Prague, Czech Republic.
Highlights of the tour were two live radio broadcasts and recordings in Berlin at the Club Quasimodo and a concert in Weitz, Austria. Upon review, the group hopes to release music from these recordings. Also of interest was a concert in Cottbus, former East Germany, at a Cinema Theater. All of the concerts were received with great audience response.
