Singer/Songwriter Marcus Goldhaber is gearing up for the November release of his new album, Take Me Anywhere, with an Advanced CD Release Concert Series in his hometown, Boston, at French Bistro and Wine Bar, Les Zygomates, on October 15th & 16th, and an In-Store CD Signing and Live Performance at British Perfumery, Jo Malone, in the historical Flatiron Building, New York, on October 22nd.

As an exciting string of pre-release events, a limited run of the newly arrived album will be made available exclusively to concert-goers, before the album is officially released in stores and online in November, 2008.

As an added bonus this Fall, Marcus will be launching his new website and introducing his new YouTube Channel which will feature streaming video clips from various live performances as well as up-close and personal interviews with the artist himself.

Take Me Anywhere is the 2nd album to be released on Marcus’ own label, Fallen Apple Records, and will serve as a great successor to his wildly popular debut CD, The Moment After. Here, Marcus will be introduced as a songwriter with 7 original songs to accompany 10 exciting and fresh arrangements of tasty standards such as “No Moon At All,” “I Fall In Love Too Easily,” “A Lovely Way To Spend An Evening,” and “Look For The Silver Lining.”

When asked about his newly discovered talent for original material, Marcus replied, “After the first record, people began asking for original material, and though I had many melodies & lyrics in my mind, I lacked the confidence to actually write a song. Then one sleepless night, around 2am, I went over to the piano, placed my fingers on the keys and just started singing along. About an hour later, “Take Me” was written.”

Stay tuned for soon-to-be-announced details on other upcoming events including the Official Album Launch Party, to be held on November 10th, 2008.

Les Zygomates (www.WineBar.com) is located at 129 South Street in Boston, and Jo Malone is located at 949 Broadway in The Flatiron Building, New York. To RSVP for either event, contact 646.827.9594.

In Boston, Marcus will be joined by The Jon Davis Trio, featuring Lello Molinari (bass) and Marcello Pellitteri (drums).
