November is a celebration of Italian American jazz artists at Chris’ Jazz Café and their favorite dishes that reflect their heritage. “All month long we’re showcasing musicians with Italian roots,” said Chef/Owner Mark DeNinno. “We thought it would be fun to tie in their favorite dishes, so guests can actually eat what the artists enjoy.” The lineup launches this Saturday, November 3rd and the Italian menu items will only be available on the evening of the performances noted below:
Pianist Joey Calderazzo
& His Trio. Chef Deninno will be preparing a Chicken Cacciatore Stew made with Chicken Thighs, Peppers, Onion and Tomatoes over Mostaccioli ($24), for Joey Calderazzo and his trio.
November 9 & 10
Vocalist Joanna Pascale
& Her Italian Project. Joanna’s favorite dish is Chicken Milanese on an Arugula, Radicchio and Endive Salad, served with Parmesan Curls and a side of Garlic Spinach ($24).
November 16 & 17
Pianist Peter Cincotti
. Mr. Cincotti will be savoring Pork Osso Buco simmered in a Sage Demi-Glace over Tagliatelle ($28).
Saxophonist Mike DiRubbo
& The Tim Brey
Trio. Mike DiRubbo & The Tim Brey Trio will indulge over Sauteed Garlic Broccoli Rabe with Grilled Sausage over Orecchiette ($25).
Saxophonist Michael Pedicin
. Michael Pedicin will delight over Sauteed Calamari over Squid Ink Pasta with Peas and Spicy Marinara ($26).
November 30 Lou Lanza
& The Monday Blues Jazz Orchestra Sinatra Celebration. Lou Lanza & The Monday Blues Jazz Orchestra will enjoy Shrimp Scampi with Grilled Calamari in a Blush Scampi Sauce over Linguine. ($28).

Chris' Jazz Café serves lunch, dinner and drinks in a relaxed lounge setting with live jazz performances six nights a week. The restaurant is open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m., and Saturdays from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m.
