From September 9 to October 20, Luca will be playing for concert series, Universities, Italian Institutes of Culture and jazz and world music clubs, presenting also several workshops. The tour will include: New York, San Francisco, Toronto, Hamilton, Guelph, Niagara Falls, Chicago, Tucson, El Paso, Las Cruses, Bisbee, Los Angeles, San Diego, Modesto and Washington DC. Produced by Violipiano Music, Luca Ciarla's tour in North America has been sponsored by the Italian Institutes of Culture of New York, San Francisco, Toronto, Chicago and Los Angeles.

Recorded in solo with the help of a loop machine, Fiddler in the Loop presents fascinating original compositions and a few extraordinary arrangements of favorites like “Black Orpheus." With three special guests such as guitarist Luigi Tessarollo, double-bass player Ferruccio Spinetti and American percussionist Gregg Koyle, wonderfully performing in some of the tunes, Fiddler in the Loop is strongly characterized by the presence of a cartoon story made by Italian artist Keziat. Luca Ciarla's new CD is also on-line.
