taintradio.org is pleased to present a live audio webcast of The Bridge on Saturday, April 18 from The Pour House Music Hall in downtown Raleigh. The Bridge is a roots music/jam/funk band steeped in bluegrass, folk, old-style New Oleans R&B & blues with bebop overtones and occasional beatboxing.

The Bridge was founded in Baltimore in 2001 by Chris Jacobs (guitar/vocals), Kenny Liner (mandolin/vocals), Dave Markowitz (bass/vocals), Patrick Rainey (alto sax), Mike Gambone (drums), and Mark Brown (keyboards).

The Bridge was awarded Baltimore's 'Best Band' and 'Best Album' by the Baltimore City Paper reader's poll in 2005 and has recently toured much of the U.S. and parts of Western Europe. The Bridge's most recent CD releases are “Blind Man's Hill' and “The Bridge," both on Hyena Records. This is their first appearance in Raleigh since 2006. The show starts 'round midnight.

taintradio.org is an international alliance of independent producers founded in 2008 by Bob Rogers and Dave Tilley. taintradio presents a 24/7 stream of genre-bustin' music programs hosted by producers in North Carolina, Georgia, Maine, Boston, NYC, Philadelphia, London and Paris.
