Fresh off a recent appearance last month on “The Jazz Life" Radio Show, John “Johnny Chops" Colianni, pianist for Guitar Legend Les Paul, is hosting his own CD release Party at the Iridium Jazz on Tuesday, November 11th to support his new international release: Johnny Chops on Patuxent Music.

“John is one of the hottest, yet unheard jazz pianists on the scene today. We definitely need to be hearing more from Johnny Chops! That's exactly why I invited him out to appear on my Radio Show. You should dig his arrangement of Nirvana's “Smells Like Teen Spirit"..." says, B.J. Jansen - Jazz Baritone Sax Artist and Host of “The Jazz Life" on WPSC 88.7 FM

When: Tuesday, November 11th, 2008 - Sets are at 8:30 and 10:30pm.

All About Jazz needs your support

All About Jazz & Jazz Near You were built to promote jazz music: both recorded and live events. We rely primarily on venues, festivals and musicians to promote their events through our platform. With club closures, shelter in place and an uncertain future, we've pivoted our platform to collect, promote and broadcast livestream concerts to support our jazz musician friends. This is a significant but neccesary effort that will help musicians now, and in the future. You can help offset the cost of this essential undertaking by making a donation today. In return, we'll deliver an ad-free experience (which includes hiding the bottom right video ad). Thank you.
