When I listened to the radio growing up, I heard all kinds of music. I came to realize that my music had no boundaries... and that is our mission. --Lenny White
With projects featuring: Joel Levine & Pete Levin

IYOUWE is a musical collective created by Lenny White to promote real music in an ever-changing cultural terrain. The collective includes musicians, singers, poets, and rappers. Although many styles of music are embraced by this group, artists at IYOUWE are responding to the urgent need for a culture that has values and values freedom.

Our first intention is to present music that inspires, provokes and finds a groove for you. To do this, the artists need to engage audiences and audiences need to support the artists. This is the simple economy of IYOUWE. With your support, IYOUWE will continue to provide new music for you, as you help keep IYOUWE continually moving forward. IYOUWE will provide music for listening, songs for singing, grooves for dancing, words for conscious growth: music that challenges your imagination. If we build our success, IYOUWE will become a musical collective with an open membership. I, the artist and YOU the audience grow and share together as WE connect.

Canadian composer Joel Levine speaks a unique voice with the recorder on his debut release The Whistleblower with the IYOUWE venture. The 13 song disc, Levine's first as a solo artist, finds the Toronto based recorder player joined by singers and instrumentalists including legendary drummer and multi-Grammy award winner Lenny White, who also produced the release.

The The Whistleblower's soulful and swinging collection includes four original compositions by Levine, two originals by Lenny White and seven songs by an eclectic mix of artists including “The Black Angel" by Kenny Barron, George Duke's “Love", Gil Scott-Heron's “Peace Go With You Brother", “Come Unto Him" from Handel's Messiah and “Trouble In Mind", a classic blues, by Richard M. Jones.

Note: Joel Levine The Whistleblower just entered the Top-50 in the Jazz Week chart for Nov. 13, 2017—Pete Levin Möbius is chart bound.

Keyboardist-arranger-composer Pete Levin's ninth solo release, Möbius, was recorded live in the studio in two days, capturing the “no boundaries" spirit of Gil Evans. The music explores textural grooves ranging from straight-ahead bop to funk, world-beat, and the experimental.

The disc features 10 tracks including eight originals,"I Mean You" by Thelonious Monk & Coleman Hawkins, and “There Comes A Time" by Tony Williams. Anchored by Tony Levin (Peter Gabriel's original bassist) and Lenny White (Chick Corea's original drummer) the high-energy band and the compositions have the spontaneity and dynamics of a 'live' performance.
