NORTH LAKE TAHOE – International jazz phenomenon Royal Crown Revue, considered the founding fathers of the neo-swing movement, will join more than 10 other national jazz bands for a weekend of lakeside performances at the 2nd annual Lake Tahoe Jazz Festival, May 20 to 22, 2005. Royal Crown Revue will kick off the weekend festivities on Friday, May 20 at the Crystal Bay Club’s intimate new Crown Room, bringing its unique sounds and daring style to the North Lake Tahoe community for the first time.

“Royal Crown Revue is one of the jazz industry’s best and adding them to our festival lineup will take our event to a whole new level," said Shelli Fine, executive director of the Lake Tahoe Jazz Festival. “Their energetic style and famous following will surely make our Friday night swing party a huge kick off – it is a party that jazz goers won’t want to miss."
