Jus Blues Music Technology Conference on Beale Street a Success

Technology seminar for the Blues artist, label, publisher and support companies. Held on Beale Street Memphis, Tennessee during the Jus Blues Music Foundations Award Week proved a big success. The filled-to-capacity crowd received numerous new avenues to assist them in building their businesses and developing profitable new technological revenue streams.

The Jus' Blues Music Foundation and Memphis Music Foundation in association with the Beale Street Merchants Association, The Beale Street Development Corporation, and The Memphis Convention and Visitors Bureau hosted the Jus' Blues Music Technology Conference. “How To Use The Net As Your Best Bet For Promoting, Marketing And Driving Sales For Music Projects." , Thursday August 7th, 2008 at the fabulous Kings Palace Caf on Beale Street.

The event was made possible by the generous assistance of Dean Deyo and the Memphis Music Foundation.

The panel discussion and presentations was moderated by Allen Johnston “The Music Specialist" and featured presentations by: Aric Berquist , owner of Sync Live.com an online webcasting community that is now allowing musicians to webcast their performances “LIVE" over the Internet FREE of charge.

Tom Davis, creator of Dr-Love.com, the oldest African American Internet radio broadcast in the world and one of the pioneers in developing online and terrestrial radio stations.

Ralph Sutton - Memphis Music Commission, Chairman of the Producers and Engineers Wing of the Memphis Chapter of NARAS where he also sits on the Board of Governors, and Chairman of the Engineering Craft Committee. He is also the founder of the Young Producers' Boot Camp and owner of House of Blues Recording Studio.

Gregory Lane, Chief Operating Officer and Principal Consultant - GMOTION.com has been building top-flight web sites in Memphis for over seven years. With clients as noteworthy as B.B. King's Blues Club, the Memphis Belle Memorial Association, and the FedEx St. Jude Classic golf tournament, GMOTION has grown past its roots as a “boutique" shop to become the preeminent web development company in the Mid-South.

Don “Kattman" Hearon - Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Hearon Media Inc. He has been conducting business, teaching on the college level and performing in the Las Vegas community since 1977. He established the Aslon School of Telecommunication, he has an online radio and television station devoted to Blues / Southern Soul.

The filled to capacity crowd received numerous new avenues to assist them in building their businesses and developing profitable new technological revenue streams.
