JON REGEN returns home to New York's famed BITTER END to celebrate the release of his new EP ALMOST HOME.'

Regen, who most recently made waves touring and recording with Legendary Singer Jimmy Scott, as well as bassist Kyle Eastwood, steps-out on his own with songs from his new disc.

His new band features electric bass phenom JONATHAN SANBORN, (son of legendary saxophonist David Sanborn), and dynamic drummer ERIC ADDEO. The Trio has now established itself as a powerful new voice in modern music.

Almost Home,' a 7 song EP, features music and lyrics penned by Regen himself. In the tradition of singer/songwriters like Sting, Norah Jones, Randy Newman and Billy Joel, the CD finds Regen singing, playing piano and Hammond organ, and assuming producing duties as well.

All About Jazz needs your support

All About Jazz & Jazz Near You were built to promote jazz music: both recorded albums and live events. We rely primarily on venues, festivals and musicians to promote their events through our platform. With club closures, limited reopenings and an uncertain future, we've pivoted our platform to collect, promote and broadcast livestream concerts to support our jazz musician friends. This is a significant but neccesary step that will help musicians and venues now, and in the future. You can help offset the cost of this essential undertaking by making a donation today. In return, we'll deliver an ad-free experience (which includes hiding the sticky footer ad). Thank you!
