Jazz Guitarist John Basile and StringTime Jazz return to the roots and present a soulful organ based collection of standards, originals, latin, and '70s pop tunes in a new CD release entitled No Apologies.

“For this project we wanted to approach the music, choice of musicians, and conception totally from an organic, back to basics approach, and work with material that I felt was complete in representing my experience in all styles of music over the years," says guitarist John Basile

No Apologies, features Pat Bianchi on the organ and Carmen Intorre on drums, two of the most exciting voices in modern jazz today.

The music incorporates the rich tradition of organ based, straight-ahead jazz with a contemporary approach that results in an entertaining, no nonsense blend of material guaranteed to satisfy any listener.

All About Jazz needs your support

All About Jazz & Jazz Near You were built to promote jazz music: both recorded and live events. We rely primarily on venues, festivals and musicians to promote their events through our platform. With club closures, shelter in place and an uncertain future, we've pivoted our platform to collect, promote and broadcast livestream concerts to support our jazz musician friends. This is a significant but neccesary effort that will help musicians now, and in the future. You can help offset the cost of this essential undertaking by making a donation today. In return, we'll deliver an ad-free experience (which includes hiding the bottom right video ad). Thank you.
