Jazz night at the James A. Michener Art Museum in Doylestown features Joanna Pascale on Saturday, May 3 starting at 8 p.m. Just 24 years old, Pascale has established herself as a compelling and skilled vocalist who has a working repertoire of over 400 songs.

This event is sponsored by the Friends of Jazz Night.

Accompanying Pascale this evening is Tim Warfield on saxophone, Andrew Adair on piano, Dan Monahan on drums and Madison Rast on bass. Pascale brings a strong emotional element as well as a solid sense of swing to her uncommonly large catalogue of jazz standards. She has regular performances at some of Philadelphia's premiere jazz venues and regularly appears with Philadelphia's most respected jazz musicians.

Pascale grew up listening to artists such as Billie Holiday, Carmen McRae, Sarah Vaughan and Nat King Cole. She attended Philadelphia Performing Arts High School and continued her musical education at Temple University where she studied under such great teachers as Terrel Stafford and Bruce Barth.

Her latest album, When Lights Are Low, showcases her approach to the timeless standards of American music. As Philadelphia Metro said, “Don't let her age fool you. Joanna Pascale is a highly sophisticated singer."

Tickets are $34 for members and $40 for non-members, with reserved tables for 4 or 6 available at $42 for members and $48 for non-members.
