New Orleans guitarist Jimmy Robinson will play several regional dates in early April.

Friday, April 3rd Jimmy will play an acoustic, solo set at ARTMOSPHERE in Lafayette, La. Also performing is Lafayette guitarist Shelton Skerrett. Jimmy will then perfom with his long-running (1975!) electric instrumenntal fusion group WOODENHEAD as they continue to rehearse and perform music from their 35+ year catalog.

The band has performed in concert with The Dixie Dregs, The Steve Morse Band, John McLaughlin and Mahavishnu, The John McLaughlin Trio, Bela Fleck And The Flecktones, Chick Corea's Elektrik Band, Allen Holdsworth, Billy Cobham, Spryo Gyra, Jeff Lorber Fusion, The Glenn Phillips Band, The Neville Brothers, and others.

Saturday, April 4th, Jimmy plays another solo set at The Neutral Ground in New Orleans at 8 p.m., followed by a 10 p.m. show NEW ORLEANS GUITAR MASTERS IN THE ROUND at Carrollton Station with guitarists Phil Degruy and John Rankin, with special guest master percussionist Michael Skinkus.

The evening promises interesting solo, duo trio and quartet performances from all three guitarists recordings.
