Famed producer and musician James Luther “Jim" Dickinson died Saturday August 15, 2009 following a triple bypass heart surgery. He was 67. Father to Luther and Cody Dickinson of North Mississippi Allstars, Jim recorded with everyone from Bob Dylan to Big Star and the Replacements to Little Richard and he played piano on the Rolling Stones' “Wild Horses" to name but a few.
