I have a gig coming up at Justin's in Albany next weekend - August 6th. It would be great if you could come! It'll be a trio gig and will feature Francesca Tanksley on piano (Billy Harper Quintet) and long time associate Rich Syracuse (bass) from the Lee Shaw Trio. I'll be playing drums of course, and we'll be playing many of my originals (from the new “Magical Spaces" CD)and arrangements of standard compositions. We'll also be playing a few of Francesca's wonderful tunes as well. If you haven't been to Justin's in a while, it's had a fantastic face lift. This includes a real nice Yamaha baby grand piano. The food is still great so come on down (or up) to Justin's. We start at 9:30 pm and go to 12:30 am. Justin's is located on Lark Street (near the corner of Madison Ave.). I hope you can make it!
