Washington, DC based Jazz Vocalist Michelle Walker recieves three WAMMIE nominations for 2003!
The Washington Area Music Association (WAMA) announced in early January 2004 it's nominations for best artists of 2003. The WAMA awards or WAMMIES are a peer nominated honor for Washington area artists in various genres on several topics.
Michelle Walker recieved three nominations for her work in 2003: Best Jazz Vocalist, Best Jazz Duo or Group, Best Artist Promotion and Website. Last year Michelle recieved her first WAMMIE nomination for Best Debut Recording of 2002.
