Pheralyn Dove, a.k.a. Lady Dove, is a poet, writer, author, and journalist who has interviewed some of the giants of jazz, including Art Blakey
, Clark Terry
and Mercer Ellington
, and has traveled the world as a poet and performing artist. A graduate of Hampton University, with a degree in Mass Media Arts, Dove is the author of Color in Motion
, a book of poetry featuring a foreword by legendary drummer Max Roach
. And her one-woman show, Little Girl Blue, in which she portrays 17 characters, has emerged as her tour-de-force and has been selected for the New York City International Fringe Festival. Pheralyn Dove is a multi-talented, multi-faceted and altogether unique performer; her Jazz Bridge performance promises to be nothing short of extraordinary.
