Jazz pianist Lenore Raphael has been touring extensively and doing Master Classes internationally in such diverse locations as the Edinburgh Conservatory of Music in Edinbrugh, Scotland, the Colorado Springs Conservatory in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Boca Raton, Florida Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton and next fall in Bayreuth Germany at the Steingraeber Piano venue.
She has done jazz clinics on diverse subjects such as how to survive the jazz music business,the art of trio playing, and how to create effective jazz solos.
This summer, from July 11th - July 16th she will direct the summer jazz piano camp at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee.
As co- director. along with bassist Chris White, of Project J.O.Y. (Jazz Opportunities for Youth) the summer jazz workshop at Montclair State University for 5 years back in the 1990's, she brings her vast experience with students at all levels into this summer's jazz camp.
