Hank Johnson and bassist “Cool Mike" Fitzbenjamin will perform live at the Burke Masterson Rehabilitation Hospital (lunchtime) entertaining patients. Hank's mother Mrs. Johnson is recovering from total hip replacement surgery at Burke--and is among the patients who will be surprised by an informal jazz session. Burke is known worldwide for it's top treatment, and quality medical care, and staff of experts in rehabilitation. Many famous people and not so famous people are treated there. For example Judge Mills Lane after his stroke was helped at Burke. Located in White Plains, New York on a sprawling large campus style setting this facility is tops in the class! In a statement made by jazz pianist, Hank Johnson “I want to do something to put back, and brighten up the spirits of the patients as they heal by performing free or probono. “They took great care of my mother, so I want to do the right thing!".
