The Jazz on Vinyl Project is set to take Brixton by storm with the launch of their debut album in the Crypt at Babalou. Headed by The Vinyl Gibbon, 2006 LA Music Award winner and recently featured on BBC Radio 2, with the beautifully warm seductive voice of Sarai Jazz and a cast of equally talented and exciting musicians.
This constantly evolving 6 piece band takes the audience on a journey with their original material, beginning with a chilled out vocal set and picking up the pace to some Cuban inspired grooves, with live sax, flute and percussion. The vibe is sure to be electric with Babalou's beautiful crypt architecture and amazing acoustics, set in the heart of Brixton.
