Jazz on the Plaza at Citicorp Center, NYC

The Jazz Commission at Saint Peter's Church is proud to announce the opening of the 2005 season of JAZZ ON THE PLAZA on Thursday, May 12, 2005, at 12:30 PM.

Concerts are free to the public and can be enjoyed from 12:30 - 1:45 PM on the outdoor plaza of the Citicorp Center, on the corner of 53rd St. and Lexington Ave. Bring your lunch and enjoy great jazz for a month of Thursdays: May 12, 19, 26 and June 2.

The focus this season will be on student jazz bands, who will often be playing with a featured artist. The 2005 schedule includes the following performances:

May 12: The New School Jazz Ensemble, featuring Billy Harper on saxophone

May 19: The Queens College Jazz Ensemble, featuring Antonio Hart on saxophone

Bands and featured artists at future performances will be announced soon.
