Our latest round of improvements raises the awareness of streamed events across our network of 300 websites and in our 80,000+ subscriber newsletter mailing list.
Jazz Near You continually improves the distribution and promotion of streamed events and our latest round of enhancements further raises the awareness of streamed events by including them in our 300 city calendars. Each city calendar includes its local events as well as all streamed events regardless of regional location. Streamed events also appear in the Jazz Near You section of our weekly newsletter mailing list.

In addition to more deeply integrating streamed events into our general calendar, we also improved our spotlight service to promote streamed events across the Jazz Near You network; so a spotlight event that is streamed from Boston will also appear at nyc.jazznearyou.com, london.jazznearyou.com, copenhagen.jazznearyou.com, etc., increasing exposure and boosting ticket sales.

Tip: How to upload a streamed event

Identify your streamed event by checking the “Will this event be streamed (live or on demand)?" box on the event submission form. This ensures it will appear in every Jazz Near You calendar including New York City. Likewise, a streamed event from NYC will appear in every calendar and newsletter including San Francisco, Philadelphia, Seattle, Montreal, Toronto, Melbourne, Berlin, Austin, Boston and Phoenix.

Spotlight your streamed event

The Event Spotlight promotional service is still highly affordable at $40 and promotes a streamed event across the 300 city Jazz Near You website network and in the Jazz Near You section of our weekly newsletter reaching over 80,000 global subscribers.

All About Jazz needs your support

All About Jazz & Jazz Near You were built to promote jazz music: both recorded albums and live events. We rely primarily on venues, festivals and musicians to promote their events through our platform. With club closures, limited reopenings and an uncertain future, we've pivoted our platform to collect, promote and broadcast livestream concerts to support our jazz musician friends. This is a significant but neccesary step that will help musicians and venues now, and in the future. You can help offset the cost of this essential undertaking by making a donation today. In return, we'll deliver an ad-free experience (which includes hiding the sticky footer ad). Thank you!
