A memorial service for the jazz trumpeter Freddie Hubbard, who died on Dec. 29, will be held on Monday.
Service May 4th at 6:30 p.m. at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, Amsterdam Avenue and 112th Street, in Manhattan. Scheduled speakers include the drummer Ray Appleton, the bassist Larry Ridley and the writer Stanley Crouch.
