Jazz Impresario George Wein to appear on the JaRon Eames Show

This Wednesday night, May 11th at 1am on Channel 34 in Manhattan, The JaRon Eames Show will air part 1, “A Conversation with George Wein" founder of Newport Jazz-JVC music festivals. His autobiography My Self Among Others (Da Capo - foreword by Bill Cosby) is in book stores now.

This is a 4-part segment airing each week same time. It will be followed in late June by a conversation with the one and only Dr. Billy Taylor, and in July a conversation with pianist Hank Jones, followed by jazz vocalese master Jon Hendricks.

The new DVD from JKE Productions archives “The Best of Collection, Excerpts from the JaRon Eames Television Show" has been added to the “New York Public Library for the Performing Arts" Rogers and Hammerstein collection at Lincoln Center.
