Dear Friends,

C'est Ma Vie Homes is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving all aspects of women's lives. It has partnered with the Jazz for Peace Organization to organize a benefit concert tentatively scheduled for Saturday May 13, 2006 at a location in Staten Island, New York. This concert will help us with our long-term mission, which is providing a safe and affordable home for families and enhancing the communities. For further information, please log on to our website at www.cestmaviehomesorg.com

On September 25, 2002 The Joshua Foundation and the U.S. Mission to the U.N. cosponsored the first “Jazz for Peace Concert" featuring World renowned Jazz pianist and vocalist Rick DellaRatta at the United Nations in New York City. This concert is now recognized worldwide as “one of the single most significant cultural events of our time" and has led to a benefit concert series that has since helped over 250 organizations. Please log on to their web site at www.jazzforpeace.org.

To help us “jump start" this event and thereby raise hundreds of dollars for our organization even before this concert is officially announced, Jazz for Peace has been kind enough to offer a limited amount of discount tickets. I would like to ask you to help support this event by purchasing (or sponsoring) a pair of discount tickets at $25 each - a $10 savings! With this limited discount offer available to 40 - 50 people we can start out on the right foot towards a highly successful event to raise funds, awareness and publicity for our organization. I would like to get this concert announced within the next week so please respond no later than February 28, 2006.

Please email [email protected] if you'd like to purchase tickets for this event. Below is more information about this wonderful organization and their benefit concert series.

“World events have conspired to make the benevolent Jazz mission of Rick DellaRatta more pertinent with each days newspapers headlines"--Cadence Magazine, April 2005

One of the busiest musical acts of the year in any genre is Jazz for Peace, the highly acclaimed jazz group led by internationally renowned pianist/vocalist Rick DellaRatta.

So far this year in 2005 Jazz for Peace has performed concerts in New York, Boston, Houston, Orlando, Chicago, Santa Fe, Dallas, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Burlington Vt. and more as well as international expansion series concerts in Mexico City and Akumal Cancun. The next month will feature performances in New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, and Maryland. Their concert at the United Nations in New York on September 25, 2002 (featuring Israeli, Middle Eastern, European, Asian and American jazz musicians performing for an international audience) is now considered one of the most significant cultural events of our time and has led to a benefit concert series that has now raised awareness and funds for over 200 non-profit organizations as well as an education series bringing music back into the schools and donating musical instruments to underprivileged children worldwide.

In the process they've garnered support, praise and contributions from United States Republicans (Senator John McCain), Democrats (Congressman Dennis Kucinich), intellectuals (Noam Chomsky) and of course music lovers and humanitarians worldwide of all ages and nationalities.
