JANN KLOSE AT BETHLEHEM MUSIKFEST, AUGUST 10 (Pop singer-songwriter also to perform Sept. 20 at Sellersville Theater with artist and classical rocker Annie Haslam)
If you're attending the Bethlehem Musikfest on August 10, please stop by the Lyric Platz stage at 5 PM for Jann Klose's set. Jann, who has scheduled a full show at the Sellersville Theater this September, is a local favorite and was asked by the Philadelphia Songwriter's Project to be part of its program at Musikfest.
Based in New York City, Jann plays his mutli-cultural brand of singer-songwriter pop music across the globe. Recently he finished a 3-week tour of the UK and his native Germany, and will be touring over the eastern half of the United States this fall. In January, he'll be performing on the West Coast.
Jann is due to return to the Philadelphia area this September 20 at 7:30 PM, at the Sellersville Theater. There, he and his band will be joined by Renaissance lead singer Annie Haslam for a very special night. Ms. Haslam, who had retired from singing to focus on her art career, became involved with Jann's music after the two worked on the SERENITY HOUSE CD to help raise funds for a hospice in Doylestown, PA., “I rarely get excited about new music and so for me to feel so strongly, spurred me on to let other people know who he is." So--at Sellersville--she will be singing with Jann's band for some of his repertoire, and he and his band will support Annie with some of her songs.
Jann co-produced his new album, REVERIE with Stewart Lerman (Dar Williams, Black 47, Loudon Wainwright III) and it was mastered by Dominic Maita (Bryan Ferry, 'Til Tuesday, Fall Out Boy).

Jann was born in Mannheim, Germany, raised in Nairobi, Kenya and Johannesburg, South Africa until age 10. His family then returned to Hamburg, Germany. He came to Cleveland, Ohio as an exchange student, returned to Germany for a year to complete his civil service, and, then, started his music career in the States.
Since his arrival in The Bronx, NY, Jann has also toured with Broadway's JEKYLL & HYDE, the European tour of JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR and regionally appeared in THE WHO'S TOMMY. His songs have been heard in films DEAD BROKE (Warner Bros. DVD) and on compilations (SAAB, France and Prambors Hits 3, Indonesia).
