Blues harp master James Montgomery
and his Blues Band, along with the Uptown Horns, perform at the Lowell Summer Music Series
this Saturday, August 21, at 7:30 p.m.
Considered one of the premier blues harmonica players over the last 30 years, Montgomery learned to play the blues first-hand from James Cotton, John Lee Hooker and Jurnior Wells. He's toured with Aerosmith, the Allman Brothers, Patti LaBelle and many others.
The concert takes place outdoors at Boarding House Park
, 40 French Street, in downtown Lowell. Tickets are $18 and can be ordered online
, or $25 at the gate the night of the concert.
