Jaijai Jackson Launches and Mentors New Independent Jazz Artists worldwide through her “Woman of Jazz" radio show on Xradio.biz in Las Vegas. Accomplished Jazz artists and new independent artists are jumping on Jaijai Jackson's bandwagon. Daughter of Jazz legend bassist Chubby Jackson has a successful jazz radio show through Xradio.biz launching and mentoring new independent jazz artists.

Jackson known as “Woman of Jazz" on Xradio.biz's Las Vegas station is on the hunt for new independent jazz artists nationally and abroad. Jackson is enjoying the process of launching new jazz artists through the medium of worldwide radio. “It is so rewarding to meet and promote such innovative musical artists who understand the importance of radio promotion and the platform that Xradio.biz gives to them. Many are excited about finding this musical freedom for their artistry by way of recieving worldwide recognition. They have an independent voice as to where their music is being distributed and promoted as opposed to the old fashioned way designed by record companies in the past. Their projects are in their own hands and they sit in the drivers seat", states Jackson.

Jaijai interviews new independent artists, learns about their art, their influences and plays a good portion of the artists CD's within a 30 minute interview, Jackson calls her interviews “jazzfomercials". Jackson brings on seasoned-veteran musicians to promote their CD's as well as having them mentor the up-and-coming new artists of today. Jackson has also aligned with the National High School Coaches association (NHSCA) http://www.nhsca.com as their musical arm bringing well known jazz musicians into high schools and colleges across the country mentoring music students.

Most recently Jaijai has interviewed and promoted the CD projects of Jazz Pianist Monty Alexander, Trumpeter Marvin Stamm, Saxaphonist Vito Pizzo, Flutist Bradley Leighton, Trumpeter Nicolas Payton, Singer/Actor Dennis Rowland, Saxaphonist Reggie Hines, Pianist and Composer Jack Reilly, Vibraphonist Terry Gibbs, Trumpeter Skip Martin of Kool and the Gang and the Dazz Band, Jazz drummer Jimmy Ford, Singer/Songwriter Guitarist Battista, Vibraphonist Christian Tamburr, Songwriter Lester Abrams, Saxaphonist Vince Preister, Pianist Monika Herzig, Saxaphonist Lou Caputo, Guitarist Mitch Holder, Singer/Songwriter Monique DeBose, Pianist Vali, Vocalist Christina Watson, 13 year-old jazz pianist Kne-O'Chaw Hampton, Jazz Vocalist Tokeli and a pre-launch of Grammy nominated composer/arranger John La Barbera's new CD “Fantasm".

First week of October, Jaijai will be interviewing a few members from bassist Marcus Miller's band who have performed on many Grammy nominated artists projects, pianist Bobby Sparks, Saxaphonist Keith Anderson and Drummer Poogee Bell all debuting their own solo CD projects. “Many of the new independent jazz artists are seeing the vision for themselves and becoming a part of the Xradio.biz family of artists", Jaijai stated.

Jazz Historian, Dan Del Fiorentino of NAMM will be joining Jackson once a month focusing on jazz legends, their music and contributions to the world of jazz music. Jackson plans on having a live forum of call-ins with jazz musicians voicing their opinions on music of today.

Jackson's production company Five String Productions, dedicated to her father Jazz legend bassist Chubby Jackson, discovered four new artists that won the new artist contest on her “Woman of Jazz" show. These artists are now slated to perform on the New Artist stage on the Air Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival in Montego Bay, January 26-28th, 2006. Jackson's artists are Jazz vocalist Monique DeBose, Flutist Bradley Leighton, World Fusion Pop Singer/Songwriter Guitarist Battista and 13-year old jazz pianist Kne-O'Chaw Hampton who were recognized through her association with Entertainment Consulting and Management Firms President Bill Walker, of BWPresents, Inc.

Jackson is also producing along with Walker a Hurricane Relief Effort Concert “TO THE BIRTHPLACE OF JAZZ WITH LOVE" for MusiCares, the non-profit charity of the Recording Academy (The Grammy's) as the beneficiary to help support the the lives of music industry professionals affected by the devasting hurricane. “After interviewing Chanda Rankin, the Director of Health and Human Services of MusiCares on my show, I just couldn't stand back and not do anything to help, I jumped on as a MusiCares relief partner right away and formed a concert in Las Vegas to help support their efforts". Jackson and Walker plan on staying on the bandwagon with continued support throughout the MusiCares campaign and are actively seeking sponsors to support these efforts with the concerts being assembled for Las Vegas, Orlando and Atlanta this coming November.

Listen for Jaijai's daughter Chloe Zae doing her own radio show “Chloe Zae's Diary" on Xradio.biz Kid's Talk on www.xradio.biz/lasvegas Saturday's from 2:00PM to 3:00 PM. Like mother like daughter! Chloe will be covering the world of kids, school, friends and peer pressure. Chloe Zae will conduct interviews with other kids in the performing arts as well as playing her favorite music! Her grandpa Chubby Jackson would be proud! “Chloe Zae is keeping with the Jackson spirit of performance and promotion of music of her liking, her very first interview was with Producer, Singer/Songwriter and on-air personality of the Secret Garden internet radio show Al B. Sure! Chloe Zae is a very talented singer and dancer in her own right and leans very naturally into her show business genes, we are Mommy and Daughter DJ's and I just love it, we both have a voice to the world" says Jackson.
