While working for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Omar performed with and conducted the Explorer of the Seas Nine-Piece Band, which played Broadway-style production shows of varied genres, such as Music Hall, Swing, Rock-Pop, and Motown; Celebrity shows, such as Ben Vereen, The Original Drifters, and The Platters; ballroom dance music; and small jazz ensembles.

Omar was appointed first violin in Hurlingham and San Martin Municipal Orchestras between 2001 and 2004, performing in two occasions at Colon Theater, one of the world’s major opera houses.
