ROBA Interactive's Groundbreaking Debut iPad Music App “An Evening with Dave Grusin" Now Available

Multi-Media Experience Takes You Deep Into this Landmark Concert Event

ROBA Interactive's first iPad App, An Evening with Dave Grusin, is now available in the iTunes App Store. The groundbreaking multi-media app, conceived and produced by ROBA, contains hours of behind-the-scenes interviews, music and video clips from the historic December 2009 concert performance of multi-Grammy and Oscar-winning jazz recording artist, pianist, composer, and arranger Dave Grusin with the 75-piece Henry Mancini Institute Orchestra at the Adrienne Arsht Center in Miami, Florida. A tour-de-force performance of songs written by Grusin, Leonard Bernstein, George Gershwin and Henry Mancini with performances from Jon Secada, Patti Austin, Monica Mancini, Gary Burton, Nestor Torres, Sammy Figueroa, the ROBA music app takes you deeper into the music and all that came together to produce this amazing concert.

There are over 300 pages of amazing photos, videos, audio, artists' info and more, including 14 HD videos and never-before-seen interviews and 400 Hi-Res photographs of concert and rare backstage photos taken by famed photographer Daniel Azoulay. The app showcases interviews with Grusin and all of the performers and producers, bringing additional insight not only to the music, but to the process of producing a concert and a recording on this scale, with “Making of" chapters and discussions of recording and mixing techniques. You can even see the camera angles from different vantage points in the hall, check out breakdowns of the individual tracks in the final recording mix, and review the actual piano part played by Grusin and see how that tracks along with the music.

The ROBA app also includes:

16 Hi-Res slide shows
Exclusive artist audio interviews
Artist career overviews
Interactive stage plots
“Producers Corner" Exclusives
Sound samples of performances and the ability to purchase music and videos
Links to artists catalogues for purchase
Producer notes and artifacts
Link to Web Based App Store, iTunes, Amazon, and more
