Tenor saxman GREG TARDY has been hailed by New York Magazine for his: “big sound, deep-seated feel for the blues, and cerebral, avant-garde chops."

Formerly of the Elvin Jones Jazz Machine with whom he toured extensively, Tardy is a trailblazing player and composer, whose latest CD, Abundance, came out on Palmetto Records in 2001.

He'll play the Painted Bride with special guest, trumpeter TOM HARRELL, on Saturday, February 8th @ 8PM. Tickets are $10 for members/ $20 nonmembers. 230 Vine Street. (215) 925.9914.
