GRAMMY-NOMINATED COMPOSER/TROMBONIST JOHN FEDCHOCK ON TOUR

Dates scheduled in Denver, Albuquerque, Miami, Chicago, Kansas City, Rochester and more--see details below

On Tuesday, March 20 Reservoir Music Proudly Releases UP & RUNNING from The JOHN FEDCHOCK NEW YORK BIG BAND

“... dazzling trombone virtuosity"--New York Times

“Fedchock plays with a dark, virile, sharply etched tone, and he's as well organized and aware of texture in his articulate solos as he is in his terrific arrangements"--Neil Tesser, Chicago Reader

Grammy nominated and world renowned trombonist, composer/arranger and big band leader John Fedchock, a veteran of the famed Woody Herman Orchestra, is scheduled to appear in concerts, clinics and workshops across the U.S., including appearances at The Albuquerque Jazz Festival, The University of Colorado, El Chapultapec Jazz Club, The University of Miami, Arturo Sandoval's Jazz Club, The Green Mill, a CD release performance with Rob Parton's JazzTech Big Band at The Metropolis Center in Arlington Heights, IL, The Blue Room in Kansas City, The Rochester International Jazz Festival, and many others.

The John Fedchock New York Big Band has become an institution that has been thriving for almost two decades and proudly features many of the same players that started with the band in 1989. Once talented unknowns in the jazz world, the players that comprise Fedchock's ensemble have all become top-rate, first-call players on the New York and international jazz scenes. DownBeat Magazine stated that, “John Fedchock's New York Big Band commands your attention and holds it. This band of peerless pros takes advantage of Fedchock's exciting arrangements."
