George Garzone started playing saxophone at the age of 6 and discovered the different languages of jazz at Berklee. Famous for his “Triadic Chromatic Approach" of teaching jazz, his concerts in the UK are much too rare.

This year the fervent admirer of John Coltrane has decided to come to London with his guitarist friend Futoshi to offer us a concert articulated around improvisations. the quartet will be completed by british drummer Martin France and John Robinson on the double bass. With a small phrase of a classic or of his own composition Garzone builds up an entire set, with all the magic he is known and appreciated for. His energy and fluidity make him one of the most inventive saxophone players of the moment.
