Cyber Jazz recording artists Ajamu Akinyele (Ah-jah-moo + Ah-kin-yay-lay) and Jon O'Bergh will be performing their eclectic blend of smooth jazz - funk fusion as Gemini Soul at The View Lounge atop the Marriott Hotel on Saturday - January 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th; Showtime 9:30 pm to 12:30 am. The View Lounge is a sky-high jazz and cocktail lounge on the 39th Floor of the Marriott Hotel in downtown San Francisco offering spectacular views of the entire Bay Area.

You've heard the buzz about his latest CD “Black Magic The Cyber Jazz Experience," predicted to be one of “The Best Independent Jazz Album's of 2006," from music critics around the world. You've seen him on the morning television show Sacramento & Co. broadcast on ABC. You've heard his music on major and independent radio stations around the world. His music was featured on the hit television show Girlfriends broadcast on the CW Network in the Bay Area. And, recently had his music played on the Tony Danza Show and Entertainment Tonight. Now experience “Liquid Soul" his new CD with music collaborator Jon O'Bergh and the other half of Gemini Soul.

In 2005, Ajamu Akinyele embarked on his first cyber jazz release titled “Supernova". And, with the success of his 2006 double release “Black Magic The Cyber Jazz Experience," spawned the Gemini Soul release “Liquid Soul," which will prove that Ajamu Akinyele's Cyber Jazz is here to stay.

Ajamu Akinyele and Jon O'Bergh, known as Gemini Soul, have a new CD coming out January 9, 2007 titled “Liquid Soul" on the Pearl Jazz Recording Label. Liquid Soul features new original music, plus favorite standards such as Peggy Lee's “Fever," Stanley Clarke's “Yesterday Princess," Sade's “Kiss of Life" and “Hang On To Your Love," and Dave Brubeck's “Take Five." Liquid Soul is the new direction in jazz.

Ajamu Akinyele states “My overall goal is to introduce my music to all generations and to all ethnic backgrounds in support of jazz of all genres, trying to unite us as a people of one nation under a groove through cyber jazz."
