SANTA BARBARA, CA - Inspired by the F. Scott Fitzgerald classic, Barbecue Club Entertainment presents the Gatsby Jazz Festival, Saturday, August 30, 2008, with headlining artist Brian Culbertson. Embodying the richness and glamour of the era, the inaugural “white linen & lawn" event will be held at the sophisticatedly hip Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club, with access to the club grounds at 3pm, and the first performance at 5pm.

Bringing The Los Angeles Times-lauded Creole-Cajun meets jazz atmosphere from the four wall confines of the original Barbecue Club restaurant to the upscale locale of the American Riviera, Mike Patterson, founder of Barbecue Club Entertainment, and business partner Robert Lott have purposed to lavishly exhibit the company's slogan, “Do Something Different." In addition to jazz musicians of unparalleled caliber, the event will include fine Creole-Cajun cuisine, cigars hand-crafted by the Cuban Master Rollers of Payne-Mason, as well as Casino tables provided by Chumash Casino, and fine wines provided by Fat Cat Cellars, proceeds of which will benefit the Santa Barbara Boys and Girls Club and the Ventura Music Festival respectively.

“The Gatsby Jazz Festival has a bangin' line-up, and an opportunity like this one is incredible, as Jazz is not often done in Santa Barbara" says Patterson." Everything about this festival is upscale. We're bringing a whole 'nother element from anyone else." Patterson encourages attendees to fully immerse themselves in the experience by wearing Gatsby era garb, if not the event dress code of white linen attire.

Held under the stars, entrance to this upscale jazz experience is $40.00 for general admission, $100.00 for Premium Box Seats, and $200.00 for Platinum VIP Seats. For more information, visit www.gatsbyjazzfestival.com.
