Jazz Near You improves regularly and we're particularly focused on improving ease of use. Here are four time- saving tips to consider when uploading your next round of events:

1. Upload Recurring Events

Did you know that you can upload up to 12 recurring events at once on the Jazz Near You event submission form? Here's how:

Click the first date in the calendar box, set the time, the price (if applicable), then click on the recurring dates. We've selected every Saturday from December 6th to February 7th.

Enter the title, the participating musicians (including yourself!) the description (optional), the ticket URL (optional), click “Submit Event," and shazam! 12 events entered at once!

2. Prefill the event title and the musician name with a single click

When you upload your events from your musician profile page, Jazz Near You will prefill the title value and the participating musician value with your name.

3. CSV: Upload several events at once

If you have experience with spreadsheets, then construct a .csv file and upload events in batches. Once you create the .csv file, subsequent updates will require significantly less time. Learn more about this option here.

4. Automatically post your events to your social pages

Learn how to automatically post your Jazz Near You-submitted events to Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.

All About Jazz needs your support

Donate
All About Jazz & Jazz Near You were built to promote jazz music: both recorded albums and live events. We rely primarily on venues, festivals and musicians to promote their events through our platform. With club closures, limited reopenings and an uncertain future, we've pivoted our platform to collect, promote and broadcast livestream concerts to support our jazz musician friends. This is a significant but neccesary step that will help musicians and venues now, and in the future. You can help offset the cost of this essential undertaking by making a donation today. In return, we'll deliver an ad-free experience (which includes hiding the sticky footer ad). Thank you!
